15" (38 cm.) overall. 5 1/2" doll. Porcelain half-doll depicting 18th-century lady with extraordinary voluminous grey hair arranged with formal ringlet curls and sculpted brown bows and streamers, low-bodice pale pink gown with white ruffle and blue bow, attached to original wire frame with silk and woven cover for use as tea cozy. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915.
