Description
12" (30 cm.) l. carriage. 5" doll. All-bisque with swivel head, dark blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, teeth, brunette mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted black stockings, brown two-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890, for the French market. Value Points: the doll is lavishly costumed in long embroidered gown with ruffled bonnet, undergarments, and is resting in a wire-framed three-wheeled doll carriage with fabric sunshade.
