Bisque shoulderhead of plump-faced child, small brown glass sleep eyes, brown eyeshadow and liner, lightly-tinted brows, tiny nose, open mouth with outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, deeply-impressed dimples at lip corners, blonde human hair, chubby muslin body, composition arms. Condition: generally excellent, craquelure on hands. Marks: 1423 by copr. by Jeanne Orsini Germany. Comments: Germany, designed by the American artist Jeanne Orsini and created in Germany under commission from George Borgfeldt, 1920s. Value Points: rare model with wonderful expression, gleaming complexion, fine antique costume.
