Description
8" (20 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, brown sculpted hair with unruly curls, enamel eyes, delighted expression, tiny painted teeth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted brown stockings, black shoes with red buckles, wearing blue jacket and short pants, homespun vest. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, very expressive features on the finely-sculpted model.
