Description
12" (30 cm.) h. chairs. Of fine woods, the beautifully-crafted furniture comprises two arm chairs and two side chairs, each in bamboo-motif carving, finished with rich gold leaf paint, and having original rose silk upholstery with tufted seats and braid trim; a matching style library table whose red leather-covered surface is decorated with painted gold floral designs; and an upright piano with ebony finish, gilded columnar legs, gilt ormolu trim including candle holders, and all working keys with especially fine sound. The set is preserved, unplayed with and in near mint state of preservation in its original box.
