Description
6 1/2" (17 cm.) Waist-up porcelain lady with sculpted wide-brimmed hat trimmed with wide pink band and large bow, and with four lavish features in orange and blue, long grey cascading curls, sculpted lavender blouse with brown shawl. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1925, the model is believed to be inspired by the famous Gainsborough portrait of the 19th-century English actress, Mrs. Siddons.
