2 1/2" (6 cm.) The book-shaped ballspenden is lavishly covered in soft aqua silk/velvet and embelllished with a highly-ornate silver filigree mount; graduated-length gold bead fringe edges two sides of the book,and the original pencil is attached by silk loops at the top. The album opens to aqua silk lining with a brass oval frame enclosing a sepia photograph of unknown woman,and gilt lettering for "Frauenheim-Ball,21 Janner 1901" followed by the order-of-the-dances pages. With cord,velour tassels and brass clip. Excellent condition. Vienna,1901.
