24" (61 cm.) Felt swivel head with very chubby cheeks and chin, pressed and painted facial features, large brown side-glancing googly eyes with decorative glaze, painted curly upper lashes, comma brows, pug nose, auburn mohair wig, very plump torso, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (cloth label on cape). Comments: Lenci, Italy, circa 1930, series 178. Value Points: rare model with wonderful wide-eyes face, wearing original black formal felt costume with silk lapels, white shirt with tucks, black silk tie, black felt top hat and shoes, and red felt cape.
