9" (23 cm.) One-piece pink-tinted bisque seated figure of big-eared character baby with right arm uplifted, knees bent, sculpted brown hair with forelock curls, sculpted oversized ears, black bead applied eyes, single-stroke brows, closed mouth with shy laugh, sculpted smock with scalloped detail of embroidery and bow. Condition: generally excellent, original dark seam line on the head, possible overpaint on bottom of right foot. Marks: 11633 Germany. Comments: circa 1920. Value Points: delightful and rare character whose distinctive features include black bead eyes and oversized ears.
