Description
15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, kid body with stitch and gusset jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1882. Value Points: especially beautiful face with threaded eyes, and wearing gorgeous antique gown with elaborate ruffles and tucks, undergarments, socks, shoes, and fine lace bonnet.
