18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with pale complexion, brown sculpted hair drawn from face with feathering details around the forehead, arranged curls at the back of her head decorated by a gilt-edged blue hair band with white bead trim, pink hair bow, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth, pierced ears, very elaborate bodice including sculpted white bead necklace, Dresden pink-glazed ruffle, painted rick-rack trim, muslin stitch-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, professional restoration of the pink hair bow. Comments: C.F. Kling, circa 1870, this model and a variation are shown in German Parian Dolls by Mary Krombholz, page 56/57. Value Points: rarity factors include brown hair, hair ornaments, very elaborate decoration of bodice.
