Description
3" (8 cm.) - 5". Five cloth-faced dolls with hand-painted facial features including the rare Witch with highly-characterized face, along with Hansel, Gretl, mother and woodsman, each with floss hair, armature body with cardboard feet, and metal balancing rod with metal base, and each with original costume. The feet are stamped Germany. Included are six cardboard props and two backgrounds, stamped "Made in Germany US Zone" and stamped "Old Witch and Hansel and Gretl". Excellent condition, Germany, BAPS, late 1940s.
