Description
19" (48 cm.) Brown-complexioned bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark painted curly lashes, black brushstroked and feathered brows, open mouth, very full coral shaded lips, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black hand-tied human hair, brown composition wooden and ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1358 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H 7. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910. Value Points: very beautiful complexion, so-called "cafe-au-lait", enhanced by wonderful modeling of lips, rounded nose, large eyes, original body and body finish.
