16" (41 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with very delicate complexion, brilliant cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with shapely torso and legs, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1860. Value Points: entrancing expression is enhanced by contrast of brilliant eye color and very delicate complexion, very sturdy original body.
