Bisque socket head with very deeply-sculpted features, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented eye corners and shaded nostrils, open mouth, outlined shaded lips, four porcelain teeth, dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 11 3/4 H 939 dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: the rare large size accentuates the deeply modeled and expressive features, original body and body finish, lush elongated original wig.
