Of alternating bands of black velvet and silk faille, the coat-dress features a fitted yoke above wide loose pleats, with V-shaped collar having braided edging, and with coat sleeves. Along with a black woven bonnet with silk lining and black velvet inside brim, decorated with a border of black beads and black velvet and ivory silk faille bow. For 16" doll. 4" shoulder width. 10" overall length. 6" bonnet length. 1 1/2" inside head width. Circa 1884.
