Description
21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brushstroked brows with decorative glaze and feathered details, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F 1/2 made in Germany 10 1/2 (head) Excelsior (body stamp). Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: classic dolly-face model with fine bisque, complexion, and painting, original mohair wig, body and body finish.
