Description
15" (38 cm.) Seated upon a tinplate two-wheel cart with original red and gilt paint is a bisque head girl with blue glass eyes, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, wooden body with jointing at shoulders and hips, black painted boots. The cart is filled with six tin lidded milk buckets and is being pulled by a galloping tinplate brown horse with painted harness, and when wound at hidden key box, the cart and horse move briskly along. Generally excellent, original painted finish with few minor flakes. Germany, circa 1880.
