Description
17" (43 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and oil painted complexion, facial features and hair, curls onto his forehead, shaded green eyes with spiral painting, black and brown upper eyeliner, white eyedots, closed mouth with pouting lips, blushed cheeks, stitch-jointed arms, disc-jointed legs, separately-stitched thumbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse 1613. Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1910. Value Points: very fine early model with original painting, and wearing wonderful original country costume.
