18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of oval-faced lady with elongated throat, light-brown sculpted hair arranged with two clusters of finger curls at the forehead that are centered by a Dresden pink hair bow, her hair drawn back from face into loosely coiled and arranged curls, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the tiny lips, sculpted Dresden stand-up ruffled collar edged with a border of gold beading, and with painted blue decorations on the bodice, muslin stitch-jointed body, sewn-on blue kidskin boots. Condition: generally excellent, small restoration to Dresden hair bow. Comments: Germany, attributed to C.F. Kling, circa 1870. Value Points: beautiful lady with rare brown hair in elaborate coiffure, cobalt glass eyes, fancy Dresden bodice.
