Description
9" (23 cm.) Of dark brown mohair, with pressed felt face and ears, amber glass inset eyes, white mohair beard, jointed long arms with felt hands, jointed legs in bent knee pose with felt feet; the monkey is posed seated upon a cast iron frame with red wooden wheels and is designed to move forward and backward when pulled along. Generally excellent. Germany, Steiff, circa 1949, the monkey has original "Made in US Zone Germany" cloth tag.
