Description
18" (46 cm.) h. x 26"w. x 15"d. The wooden two story dollhouse with opening windows and doors has two large interior rooms. The house is colorfully painted on all four sides with various nursery tale scenes, notably including Red Riding Hood, including various characters, and important props in the story line, such as Grandmother's bed. The Huguette Clark dollhouse collection of Baps-themed houses is discussed in a chapter in Baps, Dolls and Puppets by Nancy C. Felix-Moore (pp 21-23). Excellent condition. Germany, late 1950s.
