Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with richly shaded lips in wistful expression, brunette mohair braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 39. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, from their art character transitional series, marketed as "Mein Susser Liebling" (my sweet darling). Value Points: fine all-original condition of the pensive child, beautiful matte bisque with touches of glazed patina, original wig, body, body finish, and factory-original costume including flowered dress, undergarments, socks, shoes, and red felt flannel coat and matching cap.
