Description
4" (10 cm.) Of silvered metal,the very elaborate cast case has rich baroque designs,with lid flap hinging open to reveal a pair of rose inner panels which also unfold to reveal the mirrored back. The rose silk-covered booklet with order-of-the-dance pages is attached to the back,gilt-lettered "XVIIL Wohltafigkeitz-Ball... 26 Janner 1906" (ball of the tavern-owners). With rose cord,rose velour tassels and ormolu trim with gilt loop. Excellent condition. 1906,Vienna.
