16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted light brown baby hair, blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with chubby torso and limbs, side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D.V. 6 Geschutz S & Co Germany. Comments: Swaine and Co., circa 1912. Value Points: fine detail of sculpting around the eyes, appealing pouty expression on mouth, wonderful toddler body with original finish.
