16" (41 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with plump facial modeling, painted facial features, shaded blue eyes, dark eyeliner with painted all-around lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with shapely waist and limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, attributed to Blampoix, circa 1860. Value Points: beautiful painting of eyes, the poupee is wearing lovely antique costume and bonnet.
