18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, small brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with sculpted row of teeth between the outlined lips, smiling expression, impressed cheek and lip dimples, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden fully jointed Sonneberg body, pretty antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, body not original albeit of the appropriate era. Marks: 208. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: rare to find such deeply sculpted dimples, laughter crinkles and curved eyelids on a smaller model as this, enhanced by finest bisque and painting.
