The wooden box with decorative paper covers and decoupage label "Service Toilette" hinges open to well-fitted interior, with gilt paper framed mirror at the inside lid, and tiered base with gilt-painted glassware still tied with original pink ribbons, comprising washbowl and pitcher, chamberpot, pin tray, soap dish, bowl with powder puff, lidded box, and along with a number of various other accessories. Excellent condition. French, circa 1885.
