27" (69 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, slender facial modeling, elongated throat, brown side-glancing eyes with narrowed eyelids in flirtatious manner, painted lashes, grey eye shadow, arched and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with row of painted teeth, white accent dots on bottom lip, brunette frizzed hair, felt torso with arms stitched uniquely to allow the wearing of a sleeveless gown, elongated felt legs with stitch-jointed knees to allow posing. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Lenci, early 1920s, from the 165 series. Value Points: rare early model wearing original yellow organdy gown with vibrant orange and yellow felt striped bodice and lower sleeves, ruffled collar, orange gloves and felt party hat, with black heeled shoes, and carrying a brown mohair monkey with stitched eyes, and grey felt hands, feet and mask face.
