11" (28 cm.) Polychromed sculpted wooden head and torso depicting strong-featured man of the court, painted eyes, sculpted thick wide moustache, sculpted brown hair waved from face onto neck, padded armature upper arms and legs, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted green pointy-tip shoes, wearing original stiffened woven pants and coat with gilt metallic threading and brown velvet collar and pants, black hat with velvet feathers, carrying sword and sceptre, and posed on wooden stand. Excellent condition, Neapolitan, early 1700s, rare early model with exceptional carving.
