10" (25 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, large brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils of tiny nose, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, fleecy auburn hair, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, pretty lace and cotton dress, undergarments, shoes and stockings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: Germany, circa 1885, attributed to Alt, Beck and Gottschalk. Value Points: very pretty diminutive closed mouth child with entrancing large eyes, lovely bisque, original body and body finish.
