Description
17 1/2" (44 cm.) Felt socket head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, pronounced grey lower eye shadow, brown painted lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth, dimpled chin, brunette mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci Torino (silver label, with pencil script 100/23 on reverse side). Comments: Lenci, circa 1933, the classic 300 model was re-labeled as 100 series in that year by Lenci; 23 is the specific model. Value Points: pristine condition of the rare model with well-tailed parade costume including bi-corn feathered hat with medallion, and carrying wooden sword.
