19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head depicting a slightly-older lad, small brown glass sleep eyes in deeply-set sockets, fringed upper lashes, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth modeled as though open with defined space between the lips and two painted upper teeth, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 112 49. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: the rare glass-eyed version of the 112 art character, in rare-to-find larger size, has superb bisque and sculpting, very artistic painting of lips and shading and glaze, and is wearing a superb antique boy's costume of green khaki wool with jacket, knickers and cap, along with shirt and tie, socks, and black leather shoes.
