18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with plump cheeks, brown glass painted eyes with decorative glaze, white eyedots, red and black upper eyeliner, delicately-fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with slight smile, outlined lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 187. Comments: Kestner, circa 1910, from their art character series. Value Points: rare model with very choice bisque, complexion, and painting, original body and body finish, wonderful antique costume and holding a pull-toy miniature horse.
