Description
6" (15 cm.) All-bisque figure of googly-eyed character in standing pose, left foot forward, arms upraised in delight, with painted blue side-glancing googly eyes, painted upper lashes, impish smile, modeled forelock, sculpted red wings, sculpted white striped head shawl with long streamers thrown over his shoulders, and a brown open-top container at his back legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1925, the model is known by collectors as "Careful of His Voice". Value Points: charming Kewpie-like character with excellent bisque and modeling.
