Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils of tiny nose, closed mouth with richly-shaded outlined lips, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing red silk satin costume, bonnet, undergarments, kid ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent, one baby finger broken, original body and body finish. Marks: 182 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1910, from their art character series. Value Points: very endearing child with sweet expression, lovely bisque and painting on the rare-eyed variation of the sought-after model, beautiful antique costume.
