Description
16" (41 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil painted complexion, brown hair with defined forelock curls, blushed cheeks, small shaded brown eyes, white eye dots, black and brown upper eyeliner, closed mouth in downcast pouting expression, very plump cheeks, stitch jointing at shoulders, disc-jointed legs, separately stitched thumbs, early costume. Condition: very good, some age darkening and rubbing on complexion. Marks: Germany Kathe Kruse 3013 (feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1915. Value Points: early model with most endearing shy expression, maker's early markings.
