Bisque socket head, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, mauve blushed eyeshadow, painted lashes, brunette hand-tied human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with flat-cut derriere and straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sch (in shield, back of head and derriere) 2 (head). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1882. Value Points: very fine modeling with plump cheeks, fine mauve blushed eyeshadow, original body and body finish, wearing choice antique French schoolgirl costume, straw bonnet, silk shoes.
