Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with modeled bosom and shoulder blade, very deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined tongue tip between the outlined and shaded lips, pierced ears, kid bebe body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, kid-over-wood upper arms, bisque arms with separately-sculpted fingers, lovely antique silk dress, undergarments, stockings, signed French shoes, ruffled lace bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 3 (head) Bru Jne No. 3 (shoulders). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1882. Value Points: an early period classic Bru Jne with original sturdy body, perfect bisque hands, very beautiful expression and exceptional splendid eyes.
