29" (74 cm.) Bisque socket head with elongated facial modeling, very pale complexion, brown glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, slightly-parted very full outlined lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette human hair, early German composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 16 H 939. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: very beautiful entrancing expression with finest quality of bisque, antique silk kimono with embroidered details, matching cap, earrings, jade necklace.
