19" (48 cm.) All-cloth doll with hard-pressed and painted facial features on swivel head, shaded green eyes with painted threading, black upper eyeliner, brown eye shadow, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pouting lips, blonde human hair braids, jointing at shoulders and hips, blue cotton dress may be original. Condition: generally excellent, slight dustiness on body. Marks: (illegible stamp on feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1935, type VIII. Value Points: most endearing entreating expression with original painted complexion and features.
