4" (10 cm. Of fine ivory silk faille,shaped as an evening purse with gilt edging and long gilt bead trim,the purse has a decorative oval medallion depicting a fashionable lady of late 1700s,surrounded by hand-embroidered wreath,with link handle. The "purse" contains the order-of-the-dance booklet from "Frauenheim Ball" of January 17,1910; the Lady's Home ball was conducted under the auspices of Princess Marie Valerie of Austria. Excellent condition. Vienna,1910.
