13" (33 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, attributed to Barrois, circa 1860. Value Points: endearing petite size, beautiful complexion, wearing original pique dress, undergarments, and presented in early wooden French box with a selection of additional early costumes.
