5" (13 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted features, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig with original curls, peg-jointing at shoulders and hips, ball-jointing at elbows, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: BTE. Comments: French, circa 1880. Value Points: pristine original condition of doll and costumes, the mignonette with rare ball-jointed elbows, wearing original undergarments and red silk dress and bonnet, tiny kidskin shoes, and presented in original (worn) box along with three additional costumes, two bonnets, and a basket of silk flowers.
