33" (84 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head, midnight-brown sculpted hair with widow's peak at center forehead, and hair waved softly back into a coiled chignon that is interwoven with blue ribbons, detailed stippling around the forehead, curls tumbling onto her nape, strongly sculpted facial features, dark blue painted eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accent dots at eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, muslin stitch-jointed body, newer porcelain arms and legs, frail antique silk costume. Condition: generally excellent, tiny firing line at back center sew hole. Comments: Attributed to Schlaggenwald, circa 1850. Value Points: rare grand-sized model with regal presence has superb definition of her temples, chin and cheek bones, modeled bosom and throat hollow, aquiline nose.
