Description
8" (20 cm.) -11". Each has carved wooden head with well-defined facial features, firmly stuffed muslin body with wooden hands, painted black side-parted hair in short boyish fashion, tinted eyes, brows and lips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Made in China (rare original paper tag on larger boy). Comments: Chinese wooden Door of Hope Mission, circa 1920s. Value Points: appealing pair of older/younger brothers, each with gentle expression, and each wearing original hand-stitched costume.
