Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, plumply modeled cheeks, almond-shaped blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, mauve-blushed eyeshadow, brush-stroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils of distinctive pointy-tip nose, closed mouth with heart-shaped upper lip and impressed lip corners to suggest a wistful smile, blonde mohair wig, kid gusset-jointed bebe body with bisque forearms and hands, antique frail blue silk faille bebe dress with lace trim, undergarments, stockings, kidskin shoes, and rare woven bourrelet cap. Condition: generally excellent, body has some minor kid patching. Marks: A 7 T (head and shoulders). Comments: Andre Thuillier, circa 1882. Value Points: desirable early bebe by this firm is very rare to find, has enthralling expression enhanced by beautiful eyes and eye decoration, original body, perfect and superbly sculpted bisque hands.
