Description
10" (25 cm.) x 7", 11" x 9". Each is of fine silk with richly padded lining and outlined with rose or blue cording, one with painted scene of tower alongside a lake with cattails and lilies, and the other with a painted blue bird with white flowers. Generally excellent. French, the elegant sachets were presented in luxury Parisian ladies' shops, designed to preserve dainty hankies or lingerie, circa 1890.
