12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with white complexion, brown glass inset eyes, deeply modeled features especially around the eyes and mouth, painted lashes, closed mouth with shy smile, impressed dimples, white cotton wig, French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 1304 SH (head) Le Petit Parisien...(blue stamp on body). Comments: Simon and Halbig, for the French market, with original Steiner body, circa 1895. Value Points: rare model with especially fine modeling, with original yellow silk clown costume.
