Bisque shoulderhead with rich dark brown complexion, dark brown enamel inset eyes, painted black lashes and brows, closed mouth with coral shaded lips, untinted ears, black kid poupee body with gusset-jointed hips, bisque arms to above the elbows. Condition: generally excellent, body especially sturdy, perfect bisque hands. Marks: G 1 P. Comments: French, circa 1875, the markings are cited in The Encyclopedia of French Dolls, although the maker remains unknown. Value Points: rare petite size with fine original body and bisque arms, flawless complexion, along with trousseau of four original gowns, three bonnets, hat box, and various accessories.
